Understand the costs
Our Battery Upgrade solution has an indicative range of $10,000–$16,000 before incentives. Your proposal specifies the equipment, required electrical work and any confirmed incentive deduction. Eligibility and installation requirements can change the final amount.
Decide what backup should do
A battery does not automatically power the whole house during a blackout. Backup needs compatible equipment and the right wiring. We discuss which circuits matter to you and explain the limits in the design.

Do I need solar before adding a battery?
Not always, but our Battery Upgrade starts with homes that already have solar. We check the economics and compatibility. For homes without suitable solar, we can design solar and storage together.
Can I add a battery to an older inverter?
It depends on the inverter and battery. Some designs use a gateway or separate inverter; others require replacement. We check before recommending equipment.
